Celebrities Demand Gun Action Poked

This is smart and powerful stuff.

One Protester 3800 Attendees

Why we can win still.

The link is in Denver, at our own Reading, PA  gun show, lines around the corner and we got about 8 protesters from Code Pink.

We need to get these gun show attendees to write and call their elected stooges.

If only half of the people who bought a sporting rifle in the last 3 years would write a letter, call, e mail their elected ones, we could end this mess we are in.

Tough Weekend

I had a tough weekend. I'm sure most of you did, too! Getting into the holiday spirit right after 20- 6 and 7 year old kids were killed was incredibly brutal for my mind to comprehend.
I was on forums, Facebook, our local newspapers electronic feed commenting on the cause of this tragedy. Many of my Facebook friends are Unicorn Fart sniffers and want all guns destroyed. Others were coming up with their own rules and wanted the 2nd amendment repealed. It was a uphill battle, with me trying to not get emotional and only speaking to the truth and facts. I was defensive all the way. Now the anti gunners are saying Gun Sense, instead of Gun Control. Asshats.

Anywho...   Some people I am acquainted with used their time to construct some incredible thoughts and stories on moving forward, that I happen to agree with.  So I will link them below and hope you enjoy the reading and the feelings that they express.

First up is Joshua Prince, a 2nd amendment attorney from Douglasville, PA.

How to Respond to An Active Shooter

Second up is Sebastian from Shall Not Be Questioned. I know he had a tough weekend as well.

Another Argument Lost

I have heard it many times. Why don't we ban guns like other countries do?

The Government's latest crime figures were condemned as "truly terrible" by the Tories today as it emerged that gun crime in England and Wales soared by 35% last year.
This is why.

Versus this here in the States.

Violent crime in the United States fell for the fifth consecutive year in 2011 with murder, rape and robbery all going down, although crime remains a serious problem in many urban areas, the FBI said on Monday.

Remember to listen to me!!!

Pearl Harbor Memorial Band

The USS Arizona Band is the only US Navy band which was formed together, trained together, transferred together, reported aboard a ship together, fought together, and died together.

The Band Story

I find this story amazing. I also can not believe I had never heard this story before. As a musician and father of 4 musicians, I was taken back when I read it.
My thanks to Air Force Veteran Steve Shockley for bringing this to my mind.

Can't Be True.

Gun Sales Are Up???

Must be the same people buying over and over, no new sales to new gun friendly people happening.
Where are the anti gunners when the sales results from gun manufacturers are released?

Cricket, cricket.

But now folks, and bury a few in sealed Tupperwear containers in the yard. Just saying.

Good, Good, Good

George Zimmerman to Sue NBC

When he is found innocent, IMHO, of 2nd degree murder in the Spring of 2013, if it makes it to trial, he will have the benefit of a huge $$$ settlement coming from NBC in my personal opinion, again.

Honestly this entire case is a travesty of justice. George Zimmerman, even with a not guilty decision by a jury and huge settlement from NBC, his life is over. He almost certainly has to change his name, possibly change his appearance and never ever live in Florida again. He will be hunted by people favoring Trayvon Martin's family for ever. So he will need additional money for security, he will need additional money to keep his wife and family safe from physical harm.

I believe that George Zimmerman is innocent of his charges, I am also smart enough to know that the Martin family will never believe that. I truly believe that if a person was on top of me, punching me almost to unconsciousness, I would draw my weapon and fire also. GZ fired one shot. He stopped the attack and never pulled the trigger a 2nd time. Poor circumstances set up this collision of 2 people, and one is sadly dead. Nothing can change the outcome, but it was not murder and it was not remotely premeditated. It was self defense in almost every way possible. I feel that a jury will see it for what it was.

NBC should pay for their evil deed, they should pay to keep George and his family safe for the rest of his life. They put him more at risk in all seriousness, than Trayvon Martin did. GZ could fight back against the bully that Trayvon Martin became, how do you fight the nastiness that NBC became after this terrible event occurred. $$$,$$$,$$$.00 is how.  Other news orgs carried the story, none of them edited audio tape to help build racists passions.

Maryland on Steroids?

The state of Maryland has done it again. They spent 100s of thousands of $$ to catch a basically nice guy. Helicopter, tank truck, SWAT team.

Bob Owens does his best once again to explain better than I ever could.

Read it here.

So how do handle this stuff?  I rant about it, I attempt to not spend money in the questionable states that I think impose on my national freedoms. That is all I can do, and I can hope you understand and follow me.

NJ- I don't go or vacation there. I now drive to South Carolina to avoid it. If I have to go there for business, I do my best to NOT spend any money there.
MD- Same thing, I have to pay tolls on 95, But I don't stop at their rest areas and buy anything. I will use their toilets though. (Hypocritical?)
West Chester Borough in PA.- My son and I co owned a car for insurance purposes. Sons car mainly. Son gets a parking ticket at 3:00 in the morning because he parked out front of a club to load his musical gear. He didn't pay it. West Chester sent a constable to MY house 20 miles away and plastered a HUGE Yellow sticker on my front storm door demanding payment and threatening me with arrest if not paid. (A parking ticket) I won't spend a dime in West Chester.
Philadelphia- I avoid it at all costs. ONLY if I have work related MUSTS do I go there. The PPA Philly Parking Authority is a embarrassment to human rights. Why ANYone would ever want to live there should be reason enough for psychiatric examination IMHO. The city STINKS, SMELLS and is just plain rotten to the core.
New York City- Bloomberg, enough said. I am OK with the western part of NY and the finger lakes.

It is not only their NANNY positions of motorcycle helmet laws and their antiquated totalitarian gun laws that is always the cause of my personal embargo. It is their total disregard for any freedom that a human can have. It is their way ONLY.

John Hawkins Delivers

NRA equals KKK?

See, in Jason Whitlock’s dream world, that black woman would be raped, that black man’s family would be murdered, that black couple would be lynched and that child would be kidnapped and molested. On the other hand, the NRA believes that those innocent people have a constitutional right to defend themselves.

Read the entire short editorial reply to Jason Whitlock.

I am saddened more and more every time the word racism is loosely tossed into the mix. Martin Luther King had guns to protect his family. King applied for a carry License in Alabama, he was denied. WHY??  Because the State government left it up to the local sheriff to decide who got a license. (MAY issue, versus Shall)  Who was fighting for 30 years prior to this to remove Must issue laws in Alabama?  The NRA. And they are still fighting it. I wonder what King would think today of New Jersey, Maryland, New York and Illinois, all still MAY issue states, if we alive to see people still begging for the RIGHTS.

Last tidbit for today.  who walked with MLK on August 28th, 1963 in Washington DC?
On August 28, 1963 he would join Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. during the March on Washington. During a roundtable discussion conducted that day in a television studio, Heston discussed his involvement in the movement saying, Like many Americans this summer, I could no longer pay only lip service to a cause that is so urgently right, and in a time that is so urgently now.”
The answer would be the Charleton Heston who later on went on to be the President of the NRA from 1998 to 2003.

You Can't Make Stuff Up Like This

A construction crew was asked to leave a College Campus, Ohio’s Sinclair Community College, for placing a Men Working sign (Mandated by OSHA) on the campus grounds. The College takes it's diversity seriously.
Simple question from me??  Were there any people not men working on the site in question??

Read it for your self.

This crap has to end folks, I mean it is now hitting down to the Community College levels!

Crazy Costas

The Philadelphia Eagles versus the Dallas Cowboys game was on NBCs Sunday Night Football, so I was watching the game. Eagles lost. But the part of the game I want to talk about here is the one where NBC gave Bob Costas time during halftime to speak his opinion on the murder/suicide involving a NFL player. For those of you who do not know that story please go here.
Now onto the Bob Costas editorial. He is not even intelligent enough to write his own stuff, he let's a Sports Reporter from Kansas City write a story, then he reads it to a Sunday night national audience. See it here.
“Handguns do not enhance our safety. They exacerbate our flaws, tempt us to escalate arguments, and bait us into embracing confrontation rather than avoiding it. In the coming days, Jovan Belcher’s actions, and their possible connection to football, will be analyzed. Who knows?"
“But here,” wrote Jason Whitlock, “is what I believe: If Jovan Belcher didn’t possess a gun, he and Kasandra Perkins would both be alive today.”
Costas agrees with Jason Whitlock.  No one has ever been killed without a handgun EVER. OJ Simpson? Remember him?

The best part of the entire Costas debacle was how fast the conservative media jumped on this attack on the 2nd amendment. Michelle Malkin immediately tapped her Facebook, the Tea Party was out in 8 minutes with a post on Facebook, other started cruising out and peppering the Internet. WAY to go conservatives.

Costas makes no mention of the booze, pain killers and concussions of this young man, no mention of the NFLs concussion policy disgrace. Costas blames the inanimate object in the room. Maybe a league that can not get a franchise in Canada because there are so many convicted felons(currently at 32) on teams that travel games would be limited by Canadian border laws. (No convicted felons)

Costas was plain wrong and I hope he suffers in the ratings. Maybe Costas should stick to Sports analysis and leave the 2nd amendment discussions to the adults in the room.

Hero is FIRED from Autozone.

In my opinion, this company made a mistake. They are now going to suffer from the dreaded and quiet payback of people like me and people who think like me. I have placed Autozone on my list of places I will not shop now. When enough people stop shopping there and send a message to the company announcing their decision, they will change their rules.

I hear-by call for a national boycott of Autozone by all like minded 2nd amendment activist and their friends. Please send this story to all of your distribution lists and place it on Facebook and Twitter.  we need to stop this crap immediately!

News Flash: Kate Middleton Has Boobs

What in Gods world is wrong with everyone? So the young girl took off her top when vacationing with her husband, so what? The asshat camera person who took the photos was 1/2 mile a way. Guess what ladies, if you don't want your boobs on the Internet or in a magazine, don't take your top off. what really gets me angry is that the world is suggesting that Kate Middleton's boobs are more sacred than any one elses. What?  Paris Hilton, Kate Winslett, and the hundreds of other woman who have bared their breasts and this is a disaster? I mean this woman is pretty, and probably has very nice breasts, and I am not looking for the pictures, but to hold them up as something special? Nope.  What is it with us puritans? what is it about a breast that makes it so erotic, exotic?  It's a baby feeding factory, that's all it is. Kate?  If you are reading this, stand proud and tell the world you are happy with your body and you are happy being a woman. You have boobs and that's the way it is. The world will have to get over it.

Gun Sales Surge, Even More.

Looks to me that the NRA has been successful in educating most people to vote out President Obama. It looks like their message has helped spur gun sales. Gun safety classes are booked out for 4 months, record attendance at Friends of NRA dinners.  Gun rights are winning even now that the war is over.

Even MSNBC agrees.  It takes them about a year to admit it, but NIC checks aren't the only way to gauge sales.  How about the gun manufacturers being behind on orders, expanding, hiring and kicking ass.

S&W, Ruger have record years.

MSNBC opens eyes.

“Sure, about a third of it is politics,” said a Maryland salesman, who also didn't want to be named. “But the majority are people concerned about safety. They are worried about crime and looking at the economy and no one having jobs. They want to be protected now. So they’re buying.”
Emphasis is mine.

Chicken Little Day!!

The sky is falling, the sky is falling.

Dan Cathy, owner of Chick Fil A chain of fast food places get crucified by the Main Stream Media for his position on Gay Marriage.  It is tough subject for many people, but tougher for the religious right, like Dan.  Now just 6 months ago President Obama was against Gay Marriage but has changed his thinking on that subject. So the MSM and the leftist thugs (but I repeat myself)wanted to start a ban on Chick Fil A.  So a couple folks, Huckabee, Palin and others with some national prominence started a Chick Fil A appreciation Day which was today!  To say it was successful was the understatement of the day!

Dan Cathy and I don't agree, but for the Mayors of NY, Chicago, Boston and some council folks from Philly now, to declare he has no constitutional right to say what he thinks?  And that government can "make life tough" on a business owner because of his beliefs? Dan Cathy doesn't share Bostons beliefs?  Or NY's? Or Chicago?  It has nothing to do with his thoughts.  He has the right to start and run his business.  People have the right to agree or disagree with him, but government doesn't have the right to stop him from attempting to grow and succeed.

How did it go for CFA today?  Can you say lines?  10 fold the business.
People voting with their dollars.

Mayor Bloomberg is an Ass

I want to share my thoughts with the world on Mayor Michael Bloomberg. It is my hope that he has his minions popping around the Internet looking for hits on his name. I want him and his minions know that he is a serious ass. Now all of you might say I don't like him because of his hatred of guns, and you would be right. But in this particular case it has to do with him getting involved with woman choosing to breastfeed their new born baby. Yes, the idiot has a program that keeps formula away from the mothers, and makes it a negative if they want to use formula. The program will consist of nurses and caregivers NAGGING a woman who has recently given birth.  Also free smaple of formula will not be made available to new mothers in the new mother bag that most hospitals offer.

No Salt, Bloomberg.
No Soda, Bloomberg.
No guns, Bloomberg
No formula, Bloomberg.

WTF, Bloomberg????   Who in the world named you NANNY of the planet? Who asks you to do this thing? Do you not think of peoples feelings or are you that far detached from reality.
A woman just has a baby, and you think it is OK to NAG her about baby feedings?  It's just like you to take a woman whose hormones are on full blown overdrive, and then start making demands on them,  Have you no decency, sir?

Dear Mayor Mike Bloomberg, stay out of peoples live, fix a pothole or get the streets shoveled, but lay off the poor recovering women!!  You are a coward!

Media Mishits Again, and Again

Media facts missing part 2.

Paul Hsieh get's some facts that need to be read.  Why are journalists so turned off by guns? I mean the story hinges on the fact that a licensed gun carrier was involved but they gloss over it completely.

13 Killed in PickUp Truck Accident

Read all about it.

12 people die when a deranged man copies an evil doer thinking he is the Joker in the Batmen movie and the press goes bonkers. Editorials galore calling for gun control and screams of "how did this happen?" But I bet you didn't hear about the 13 people killed in one traffic accident in Texas.
A truck, a Ford F-250, was carrying, GET THIS, 23 people crashed on the highway north of the border in Texas.

Let's talk differences, shall we? The 13 people, including the murderess driver, were killed in Texas were immigrants.  So no press on this. We have to be PC and stay silent, since it may embarrass the  border enforcement and the President might get a bloody nose.

My previous post relating to Chicago? 34 people killed in the month of July in Chicago? Nothing in the press because it was only mostly black on black crime, gang on gang crime, criminal on criminal crime.  The fact that the most stringent gun control city in the United States (Tied with DC and NYC)has an abundance of gun crime is not picked up by any press folks. It doesn't fit their narrative.

The longer I live, the smarter my father gets. He always said, rather of matter of factly, "Never believe what you read in the press!" What I have learned is sometimes what you do NOT see written in the press tells a more detailed picture of agenda based news reporting.

Aurora, Colorado versus Chicago, Illinois

I was doing some reading and came upon some details that I thought might be of value to some of my readers. In the month of July there were 12 people killed in Aurora, Colorado by a deranged gunmen. In the month of July 34 people were killed in the city of Chicago in the state of Illinois. Just me to remind you where the Presidents home is.  Chicago. See it all here.

Colorado is being beaten up by the anti gun crowd, and the press, to strengthen its gun laws. Chicago has the strictest gun laws in the United States, no one can have a gun legally.

Do you need more proof of the main stream medias love of starting crap? I bet none of you knew about the total killings in July in Chicago. Is one at a time better than 12 all at once??

Heavy, Heavy Heart

3 Children die in boating mishap.

27 people on a 34 foot "yacht"!    That's aint that big of a boat. Yacht? I think not. I suspect over crowding. Why were these kids NOT wearing life jackets?   Night time underway, out to enjoy the fireworks, kids not in like jackets?  Negligent, negligent, negligent.

If you go and buy a car, you need to prove you have a drivers license and insurance.  If you buy a boat, you can take it out in the ocean with nothing more than a smile.  Please excuse the following RANT.  The owner of this vessel should be jailed for negligent homicide. I want to know what training he has and why he thought it was safe to take 27 people, including children, out in the ocean on a 37 foot boat.  a 37 foot boat can safely handle 10, maybe 12, people in the ocean. All these folks standing topside on the boat.  It is an accident waiting to happen.
My made up belief? All the people were standing to one side of the vessel looking the same way. Another larger vessel tossed it's wake and cause the boat to capsize. Over crowding is the reason, a boat can only be buoyant if balanced correctly.

Murder charges against the owner/skipper of this vessel is needed. Negligent operations is not a forgivable act in my humble opinion.

My tears fall for the children. The adults let them down and caused their demise. Hang em from the yard arm.

Happy Independance Day!

Go to a parade, fly your flag and think FREEDOM!!

No Questions Asked in NY? uh, nope.

Brooklyn gun buyback touted as no questions asks, gets a man arrested when he turns in a gun supposedly stolen from a police officer.  So it's NY PoPo's have different rules...

Read all about it....

My favorite line?
Police say De Shield's name was not taken at the gun buyback program and he was not arrested for turning in the weapon.
The department says it maintains a no questions asked policy when guns are turned in at buybacks.
Uhhhhh, then why is he in jail??

New York remains a mess!!  Please avoid this State.

Yup, Guns Are Bad..

14 year old boy/brother/hero stops a man breaking in his home.

The people who oppose people owning guns say this never happens and are in denial. This young man was forced to make a tough decision and made it correctly and I might add, accurately!!

Chicago Versus Afghanistan?

When George Bush was President we heard daily about the deaths of soldiers killed in the war.  Now we hear nothing. But one city, Chicago, stands out. Why?  Because people in Chicago, at least the law abiding ones, can not have a gun.  What good is gun control if the criminals don't listen?

Chicago residents face a murder rate that, thus far this year, is higher than the number of U.S. troops killed in Afghanistan.

The war zone-like statistics are not new. As WBEZ reports, while some 2,000 U.S. troops have been killed in Afghanistan since 2001, more than 5,000 people have been killed by gun fire in Chicago during that time, based on Department of Defense and FBI data.

According to the Chicago Sun-Times', more Chicago residents -- 228 -- have been killed so far this year in the city than the number of U.S. troops killed in Afghanistan - 144 -- over the same period.

Squirrel hunter shooting with BB gun faces jail and fines.

I mean you can't make this stuff up!!   NJ needs a little sense of reality.  Squirrels are just rats with tails, vermin. I have similar issues with squirrels getting into both of my houses. They cause thousand and thousands of dollars in damage to wood and electric lines.

NJ is completely crazy. There may be no saving them now!

NJ Continues To Nanny, Now BB Guns

You are hereby convicted to 10 years in prison and a $150,000 fine for the possession of a Daisy Red Ryder BB gun.

When I was a kid, 8 to 15, I can't tell you how many days I sat out back of my parents yard shooting my Daisy BB rifle. I crank on the lever and fire. 100's of times a day. My dad use to hang empty Miller High Life cans from our apple tree and I would get them all swinging and eventually rip them in half. I would buy the cartons of BB's at Kmart.  I think a 1000 BB's were a dollar. The gun would hold darn near 500 in the barrel. In October, when the apples would fall, the bees would be all over the dead apples on the ground. I would set up a lawn chair about 15 feet away and pick off bees for hours after school. I credit my marksman like ability with that BB gun to turning me into the Expert Rifle and Pistol medal winner in the Coast Guard.
Today I live in a community, not far from where I grew up, that you can not shoot a BB gun. My kids can shoot in the garage, if the door is closed at targets, but not outside in the yard. Things have changed.

I don't know the reason, other than anti gun fears, that NJ would ever pass such a stupid and idiotic law.
But it is NJ and they have joined NY and California as the highest taxes and lowest freedom States in the Union.

Whatever happened to COMMON Sense?

Nanny, Nanny, Nannies are Surrounding Me

FREEDOM and LIBERTY?? I call it tyranny of the busybodies!!

NJ 2012- 1000 dollar fine for having dog or cat not in harness/seatbelt in car.
NY 2012-  No sales of more than 16 ounces of soda in any fast food place.
NY and NJ- Motorcycle Helmet law states
NJ and NY do not recognize the 2nd amendment.
NY 50th, NJ 48th worst States on Taxes 2011. (Out of 50)  California is 49th as of 2011.
NJ 2012.  Texting while walking.
NY 2011.  Outdoor cigarette smoking anywhere in public parks, beaches and open areas.
NY 2009.  No Trans Fats used in cooking.
NY and NJ- Cell Phone use while driving.

Feel free to leave me any from these two States that I missed!!

What can we do about it?  People are leaving New York in record numbers, New Jersey is draconian in almost all it does.

Scandal Alert "Under the Radar"

Please share this information with any gun loving or gun friendly folks you know!
I place this under the desk with other President Obama listed, "Under the Radar", items.

Scandal! Cities pay anti-gun lobbyists
Jeff Knox explains how your tax money is used to undermine 2nd Amendment
Jeff Knox is a second-generation political activist and director of The Firearms Coalition. His writing can regularly be seen in Shotgun News and Front Sight magazines as well as here on WorldNetDaily.
Cities around the country have created staff positions for professional lobbyists whose primary function is to drum up support for anti-gun legislation, ordinances and regulations. Part of these lobbyists salaries are being paid by grants from do-gooder foundations like the Joyce Foundation, but the balance of salaries, benefits and support costs are being borne by you, the taxpayer.
An associate of mine in Florida named Sean Caranna was doing some research for his grassroots rights organization, Florida Carry, Inc., when he came across something on the agenda of the Orlando City Council that he immediately recognized as a serious problem.
The item was for the renewal of a contract for a city employee. That’s mundane enough, but the job title of this particular employee was “Mayors Against Illegal Guns regional coordinator,” and the job description is to “play an integral role in the coordination and planning of gun crime prevention and illegal gun-related initiatives, events and media opportunities in the city and in the region” (the full council agenda and detailed information can be found on the City of Orlando website).
In the case of Orlando, the grant is $60,000 from something called the “United Against Illegal Guns Support Fund,” which appears to be a front group set up by billionaire mayor of New York City Mike Bloomberg – the creator of Mayors Against Illegal Guns. The Joyce Foundation provides the primary funding for Bloomberg’s “support fund” to the tune of $650,000 in 2011 and at least $1,000,000 more in the previous 3 years.
While the grant to Orlando pays the bulk of the regional coordinator’s salary, the city is allocating $24,000 of citizen’s money to fund the position and providing other city resources and facilities for her use. The person tapped for the job is a woman who has worked as a regional coordinator for the Brady Campaign Against Guns, and as a professional lobbyist for MAIG and several other groups.
In essence, the city is paying $24,000 to have an anti-rights organization’s lobbyist working in their offices and pretending to be a city employee.
After discovering this scam in Orlando, Caranna began digging deeper and found similar sweetheart deals in several other cities around the country, including Seattle, Milwaukee, Columbus and Minneapolis. Based solely on the funding numbers from the Joyce Foundation, there should be at least 10 of these regional coordinators around the country – working against rights and being compensated in part by taxpayers.
Finding them all has proven to be a bit of a challenge, as no one from MAIG, Joyce or the Support Fund seems interested in advertising the coordinators’ existence. Caranna found, and my own research confirms, that some cities try to keep their participation in the scheme on the down low by using initials or euphemistic titles and job descriptions, but now that we know about the scam, I don’t think it will take long to expose most all of the pseudo-city employees. With more than a million and a half dollars granted to the project over the past 4 years by the Joyce Foundation alone, there has to be a money trail to follow. We also know all 600 mayors involved in MAIG and will be scouring the books of each of them looking for traces of this scheme.
I’m asking all of the members of The Firearms Coalition and all of my readers to help us locate these taxpayer funded anti-rights lobbyists. You can find a list of all of the participating mayors on the MAIG website and then launch your own investigation into any of them you choose.
While we’re at it, let’s look into this whole concept of private grants funding, and influencing, public policy. On its surface, the idea of a charitable group helping a municipality do some public service seems reasonable; a family group might support municipal preschool and after school programs, for instance. But if that group has a political agenda, or demands inclusion of a controversial curriculum, the “gift” becomes questionable.
From one side these grants look like a way for the charitable group to make their dollars go further while helping a city reach its goals, but it is also a way for a pressure group to get public funding for their agenda.
Imagine the uproar if a city created a staff position for the promotion of firearm safety training with funding from the NRA Foundation. Even if the program focused solely on safety and never crossed into the rights issue or promotion of firearms ownership, the media and hoplophobes would go ballistic.
The very innocuous and apolitical Eddie Eagle Gun Safe program, with coloring books and video cartoons teaching kids that if they come across a gun they should “Stop – Don’t Touch – Leave the Area – and Tell an Adult,” comes under fire because it is given to schools and police departments free by the NRA Foundation.
Public-private partnerships can be good things, but local politicians need to be extremely cautious about giving the keys to the city to any outside group whose altruism might be driven by a political or social agenda. The old adage of never looking a gift horse in the mouth does not apply in civic matters – just ask the Trojans. It is very tempting to a politician to be able to offer constituents some valuable service at a fraction of its normal cost, so it’s up to the citizens to be attentive and keep their politicians on the straight and narrow.
For those who might not know, Mayors Against Illegal Guns is a political group formed by New York mayor Michael Bloomberg. It has an agenda almost identical to that of the Brady Campaign and other anti-gun groups, but it goes to great lengths to make its proposals seem reasonable and moderate when, in fact, they are intended to make firearms ownership more difficult and dangerous. Bloomberg has spent millions of dollars from his own very deep pockets and the pockets of New York taxpayers to advance his agenda and is receiving additional millions from the Joyce Foundation – the same Joyce Foundation that gave Barack Obama a paid directorship as a stepping-stone into politics.
This scandal will be unfolding for weeks, and probably years, to come. The more information we can dig up on the MAIG employees infiltrating municipal government, the better chance we will have of putting a stop to this theft of taxpayer money. Check your local government for any private-public partnership grant programs – particularly programs funded by MAIG – and let me know what you find. Together we can pull the mask off of this beast and return control of municipal government to the people who live there.

The Factual Truth on Race

The Zimmerman/Martin issue has raised race riot concerns, between black and white, Hispanic and black and black and Asian.  I happen to come across an article, written by a black man that sums up the feelings and trepidations I have toward race issues.

Please read this well written article by Walter Williams.

I wish Reverend Sharpton, Reverend Jackson and the other race-baiters would answer to this article. I am sure they would argue the accuracy of individual numbers listed, but you can not escape the truth. Even if these numbers are off 25% either way, it is a harmful trend.

A tidbit that gets you thinking.

According to a Tuskegee Institute study, between the years 1882 and 1968, 3,446 blacks were lynched at the hands of whites. Black fatalities during the Korean War (3,075), Vietnam War (7,243) and all wars since 1980 (8,197) come to 18,515, a number that pales in comparison with black loss of life at home. It’s a tragic commentary to be able to say that young black males have a greater chance of reaching maturity on the battlefields of Iraq and Afghanistan than on the streets of Philadelphia, Chicago, Detroit, Oakland, Newark and other cities.
Wow, powerful stuff. And.....
According to the Bureau of Justice Statistics, between 1976 and 2011, there were 279,384 black murder victims. Using the 94 percent figure means that 262,621 were murdered by other blacks. Though blacks are 13 percent of the nation’s population,....

Eddie the Eagle Needs to Be In Chester, PA

Chester, PA needs Eddie the Eagle.

There is a small city near my home named Chester that is in serious need of this type of training. I have been routinely suggesting it to the local politicians but it falls on deaf ears.

Proof it works.

Lawson had taught the students at the school to recognize danger through a “GunSafe” presentation, documented in the Eddie Eagle program which is associated with the National Rifle Association.

Florida Non Zimmerman Good Samaritan

Nope, the anti gun goofs say this never happens

POLICE: Robbery foiled by gun-toting Good Samaritan MANGONIA PARK, Fla. -- Police report a would-be robber instead was shot and ended up in the hospital Sunday.

Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office reports a robbery in the 400 block of Australian Avenue ended when a passerby fired shots at the suspect. The suspect later showed up at St. Mary's Medical Center with a gunshot wound.

Deputies are still looking for more suspects.

A MUST read... Terrorist or Set up?

Did these Occupy members really set this in motion?

The FBI informant/plant has some serious culpability IMHO!!

New York Violates Rights Everyday

Their answer is , it's working for them.

I have to tell you, I would have a serious problem with any officer stopping me as I take my daily walk and frisking me.  How about you?  But it is routine in New York. They argue that they are justified because their crime numbers are low. But 700,000 rights violations return only 500 criminals charges. Let me put that into perspective in real numbers..  700,000 people frisked. 10% would be 70,000. 15 would be 7,000. 0.1% would be 700 people.  You getting this??

New York violates rights as a matter of routine. No 2nd amendment rights, no 4th amendment rights. How do people let this happen???  My favorite quote is below

The tactic has drawn criticism from civil libertarians, local officials and community leaders, who say the practice unfairly targets African Americans and Latinos.

New York remains my most hated State. New Jersey remains a close 2nd.  Unbelievable!!

Justice for Trayvon’: 15 Whites Beaten By Gangs of Black Thugs… So Far

Bob Owns has the entire story here.

I have stayed away from any writing any information about the Martin/Zimmerman issue in Florida. But I have been on the record in many sites mentioning that Sharpton, Jackson, Farrakhan, Mayor Nutter and even President Obama assisted by the main stream media, ABC, CNN and NBC mostly have caused this racist hatred.

I am a rare bird, in that I don't see color, I see ability in people. So when I see people financially or politically using race as a way to stir a pot, I hate it completely. IMHO there should be no hate crimes. Crimes are crimes, if you assault someone you should be punished accordingly, why do we assign it as a hate crime? How did we end up allowing that to occur. We are the HUMAN race. Ethnicity is not important in the legal system.  I sure wish I could get out on the stump and employ some academicians to adopt my thinking and teaching.

In just two months, there were at least 14 known assaults — some clearly attempted murder — perpetrated by black mobs against 15 white victims that have been tied to a widely shared desire to avenge the death of Trayvon Martin.

Days of our Trailers: Another 'One Man Show' Gun Group

Days of our Trailers: Another 'One Man Show' Gun Group

Agree with your comment.  Splintering the NRA and it's mission, huge as it is, is no way to start a organization.  I have reviewed the board of directors Mr. Feldman has listed on his web site, and I am very unimpressed!  Only time will tell!

Coach Umpire Gun

Which of these 3 do not go together???

Coach pulls gun on Umpire??

Are you kidding me????

National Rifle Association Institute for Legislation Action.
Remember that as best you can for as long as you can. It is the political muscle of the NRA with all the rights and freedoms to represent us NRA members as a lobbying team.
Why do I mention it?  Because I have in the past mention how much MONTHLY money they get to fight for our freedoms. I also mention that in each monthly magazine you get from the NRA they list people who have named the NRA-ILA as "In Memory" contributors. People who die, or bequeath money to the organization. The totals are honestly astounding.

Let's review shall we?

From the American Rifleman May 2012 edition. In memory contributions were 12 people.(Total  $ collected not mentioned)
Then under that they have listed people who donate at least $1000 dollars in the month.
Counting the over $1000.00 folks? 41 at over $1000.00 a piece.(Minimum was $41,000.00 for 1 month.)

THIS is why we win.  The Joyce Foundation, which supports the anti gun lobby, only donates about $250,000.00 a year to help the antis push their message.  OUR members alone, if I take the worst possible total for a year give over $500,000 IF I only include those donating over $1000,00. (Did you get that??)

So what's the big deal about it?  I just want you to know that you can send less than a monthly grand to them. They will take your check, or credit card number, or money order from you. I try to send them money every month! Some months more than others, but do not remember that it costs money to WIN!

That is the official number of people who attended the annual NRA convention in St. Louis, Missouri.
Seventy thousand seven hundred forty people all to visit a 3 day membership event. I am proud of them all!!

I was spending some time looking for the number this morning and JR got it faster.

I know you want to know how many members showed up for the anti gun annual convention, don't you.
The number is listed below.

Did you really look way down here ?  The anti's don't have a convention, they can't get 15 people to show up at a press conference.

LAPD UhOh....

90 rounds at unarmed youth?

Youth is dead, only 2 years older than Trayvon Martin. But his name was Abdul, so Sharpton and Jackson, Nutter and Farakhan won't be there to demand a march.
Maybe President Obama will call his parents?  Nah, he could be his son, too?!?!

Zimmerman fired once.  But did not have qualified immunity!

More Academetian Crap

Why public education is losing the fight.

Really???    So a young man was so relieved he didn't have to fight the class bully that he hugged the teacher.  She didn't like that.  He get's suspended.  WTF??

Teachers stealing healthy lunches and serving chicken nuggets.
Teachers taking nail clippers and expelling students for carry a knife.
Teachers taking a wooden block resembling a gun that is carried at school parades and girl gets suspended.
Boy hunts in morning, parks off campus because he knows he can't bring his shotgun on to school property, suspended for being at school with gun, even though gun was parked in legal parking spot off campus!!
When does all this stupidity end?  Zero tolerance is STUPID!!  How do I get that law passed.

It's OJ All Over Again

Polls are out that say we have another OJ issue.

Black Americans and Americans of other ethnicities have widely-divergent views of the Trayvon Martin case, according to a new poll that shows the black community overwhelmingly believes he was murdered and that police let his killer get away due to racism.
WTF???  Read it all and cry like I did..

Boycott Advocacy

Coca Cola and Pepsi bought into the pressure! I fear they have awoken the sleeping giant!
Companies have to be able to rise above the pressure, they have to able to honestly say we serve everyone with all ideals and freedoms.

To side with anyone who would impose on the Constitution only inflames the conservatives. Believe me the conservatives need to learn how to manage and bankrupt a company, because there are far more conservatives in the United States.

Coke and Pepsi fail to recognize us!!

Do I want you to ban them, no, but I want you to contact them and advise them of our strength, and let's give them 3 to 6 months then we should revisit!!

Social Media Comparison

JR has a great post where he looks at Facebook and it's social media impact to grassroots followers.
Go here and read it...

NRA has 1.4 million "likes"!

Antigun groups combined??   20k.

Let's list it as a total number...   1,402,274 NRA
                                                        20,900 Combined Gun Grabbers

That would be a 7 to 1 ratio!

Did that make you smile?!?!?!?   It did me!!!

Pennsylvania Gun Rights Rally Day

May 8, 2012 in Harrisburg. Great lobby day and opportunity to meet with and discuss the needs and wants of all of us Gun Friendly VOTERS!

Here is the Flier.  Feel free to pass it around!

120 and Growing

Eric Holder now has 120 Congresscritters calling for his resignation.  Granted, all of them are republicans, but even his democratic supporters are asking him to cooperate more.

Additionally, 31 other House Democrats penned a letter to President Obama in June 2011 asking the president to direct Holder and the DOJ to comply with the congressional subpoenas and document requests pertaining to the scandal. To date, Obama and Holder have essentially ignored the request.
Out of 80,000 pages worth of documents House oversight committee chairman Rep. Darrell Issa has lawfully subpoenaed, the DOJ has only provided between 6,000 to 7,000 pages to Congress. The DOJ has, however, given all of those documents to its internal investigator, the Office of Inspector General.
Holder has not provided any legal reason for withholding these documents from Congress, but the attorney general has claimed he is not covering anything up.
Obama has stood by Holder, issuing statements through spokespeople at key moments indicating that he has full confidence in his attorney general.
Embarrassing to know this guy is the Attorney General!

A 70-year-old Richland Township man leaving a Trumbauersville bar pistol-whipped a 29-year-old man who tried to rob him in the parking lot, according to state police in Dublin.

HUGE WIN in Maryland!!

Over at JR's at No Lawyers, only Guns and Money!

The Baltimore Sun!

IMHO the quote of the day?? He being the judge, happens to be a Bush appointee.
“A citizen may not be required to offer a `good and substantial reason’ why he should be permitted to exercise his rights,” he wrote. “The right’s existence is all the reason he needs.”

Boy, 10, makes a YouTube video with a gun in it, and gets expelled from school!!

The student did not make any threats to his school or any students. Lorraine Cooper of the Kennewick School District says he was expelled as a safety precaution during a police investigation.

I see BIG money in this kids future.  Get a lawyer kid!!

News To Use!

News you can really use!!

The NRA-ILA list organizations, celebrities and Companies that spend money to help the anti gun liars.

Local Gun Hero

In my local paper, and only one town away!

A neighbor who witnessed the disturbance approached Cook with his own firearm and ordered him to drop the gun, Murray said. After repeated attempts to get Cook to comply, he eventually dropped the gun and ran away, police said.

I would call this a win!  No one was hurt, the cops were late and a armed licensed neighbor took care of business!!  Badges?  We don't need no stinkin' badges!!

Truth Defined!

Lost and Stolen follow up.  House Bill 1523.

"Local elected officials are not above the law, and I think it's arrogant and disrespectful of the citizens of this state when you have a local elected official who thinks they can pass any law they want willy-nilly," said state Rep. Daryl Metcalfe, a Butler County Republican who is the bill's prime sponsor.
Who doesn't believe this??  Think about Gay Marriage in some towns but not others, Motorcycle helmet laws in some towns and not others. There are many discrimination laws that these little Napoleon municipal leaders could decide to do, and actually do at times.  They hide behind quotes and toughness of, "If the State won't protect my residents, I will"! What those residents don't know is he/she has Qualified Immunity, they can not get in trouble for breaking the law in this case. They know the Sate preempts their law but they also know there is no penalty for ignoring the State oversight!
So all this law does is make local governments responsible for the laws they make if it impinges on a citizen with financial penalty, INDIVIDUAL financial penalty!  I bet, and feel free to challenge me to a fair bet, that if this Bill passes, these 30 municipalities will drop these bogus ordinances inside of 6 months.  Do I have any takers?

Motorcycle Roadblock Followup

I know I was outraged when this was occurring in NY and then Georgia. Everyone who reads this blog knows how much I despise many, many laws and the nanny over stepping of the State of NY.
Let's set up a Road block to stop all Hybrids? Or maybe Pick ups? Vans?  No one would stand for it. But motorcycles?  Sure, stop them and inspect them for noise, inspections, helmet and anything else you want.  Now we have a valiant legislator who is attempting to write into law the discrimination of it all.  Isn't it a damn shame that this has to be written?

Motorcycle-only checkpoints have revved up concern in Congress, and wording was recently inserted into the House highway bill that would bar the U.S. Department of Transportation from providing grants to local or state governments for such discriminatory inspections.
The action arose over motorcycle-exclusive roadblocks set up in Georgia and New York under federal safety grants that single out motorcycles from four-wheeled traffic for police to check the bike and rider for proper paperwork, helmet, exhaust and equipment violations.
Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner (R-WI), who sponsored H.R. 904 to ban federal funding of motorcycle-only checkpoints, applauded the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee for including his bill’s wording in their Feb. 1st mark-up of the transportation measure, saying; "It is encouraging to see that the transportation reauthorization bill will encourage more efficient use of taxpayer dollars and smart motorcycle safety policy."
"Motorcycle riders are right to be outraged at being singled out for safety inspections," added Rep Tom Petri (R-WI). "Nobody is suggesting flagging cars down for unscheduled inspections, and there's no good reason why motorcycles should be treated differently. It's unnecessarily intrusive, and not a smart way to use limited police resources.”

A Must Read

This is WIN!!

A gun control study that doesn’t consider whether the laws have any effect really doesn’t deserve much attention.
Just when I say to myself why doesn't the NRA answer this ridiculous Brady State assignments?

Thanks NRA-ILA!  I needed that!

Suicide Truths! Sad But True?

Over at Boats and Bullets.  H/T to NLOGAM!!

John catches a serious play on the suicide numbers. I added emphasis!
Only 10% of suicide attempts are from guns? That is not what the anti gun crowd has been crowing for all the years I've been listening.
Did you catch that too?
Hemenway and Miller explain that firearms availability increases the risk of suicide for three reasons. First, "many suicidal acts -- one third to four fifths of all suicide attempts, according to studies -- are impulsive," with the vast majority of survivors waiting less than 1 hour between the decision to commit suicide and the attempt. Second, many suicide crises are temporary, which is why "more than 90% of people who survive a suicide attempt... do not go on to die by suicide." Third, guns are extremely lethal; "A suicide attempt with a firearm rarely affords a second chance. Attempts involving drugs or cutting, which account for more than 90% of all suicidal acts, prove fatal far less often."

Let's read that last sentence again... "Attempts involving drugs or cutting, which account for more than 90% of all suicidal acts, prove fatal far less often."   So guns are used less than 10% of the time... and they're the biggest problem? Interesting...

As the "Coffee Talk" lady used to say on SNL... "Talk amongst yourselves."
Me, talking amongst myself, says the anti gun folks are caught lying again!

Philly Robbery Story Becomes About the Cops

This story wouldn't have even made the newspaper if it weren't for the cops mistakes.

What I would like to bring to every women's attention is this tidbit all the way down in paragraph 3.
According to police, 25-year-old Alexander Wade robbed a 37-year-old woman on a street in Southwest Philadelphia at about 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, reports the Daily News. Wade allegedly took $150 from the woman and then repeatedly pistol-whipped her and slammed her head against a near-by house, police say.
Emphasis above is mine!  Please, ladies, carry a weapon with you to protect yourself, please, please, please!  I like the world better with you in it, and I could be OK with less of guys like him NOT in it!!

I Hate New York!!

Read this twice if you have time!  Let me know if this story has you shaking your head over and over!

Why does this happen??  I can not believe the NRA, or Second Amendment Foundation(SAF) can not make use of one of these cases to destroy New Yorks "laws!"

I must be naive as hell, but it seems easy to prove they are breaking Federal law! Over and over with malice!

NICs or PICs

I'm a law abiding person, so I say save the money!

Critics maintain the PICS system is slow, costly, inefficient and redundant. The PICS system is notorious for weekend slowdowns in operation; this becomes especially troublesome for citizens and gun dealers during the holidays or gun show weekends.
By comparison, critics maintain the National Instant Check System Challenge procedure is well defined and straightforward.
Seems like a no brainer to save the State money! With computer systems now a days, all this stuff would flow instantly, so the crap about stuff getting lost is moot!  The only argument would have to be about CONTROL!!!

Animal Farm and New Jersey

A great story of NJ coincidence.

I read Animal Farm in High School and again later in my life. I wish I had thought of this but it escaped me completely!  Last night I was going over a map of some carry law in states with someone I love, and she wanted to know  why all the States around us, NJ, NY, MD, DE, MASS, CT and RI were red.(No reciprocity on the map we were viewing) I tried to explain, but she smartly interjected, "We should be able to carry everywhere!" I beamed with pride at her response.

Wake up NJ.  Please recognize that I avoid your state as much as I can. I will no longer vacation there, or spend any money there if I can help it.  Please appreciate that I am writing this for you to read, and hope you understand that I am not alone. I am just telling you straight up. When I was a manager of a large firm, if I heard one serious complaint, I always recognized what I called the 7/11 rule. If one person complained about it, then 7 others agree and they will tell 11 others.  You do the math!

Dead on arrival, but they keep coming.

Not allowing lawful carry of a weapon on Federal Park property doesn't stop anyone from bringing a gun there and shooting it. Get it through your thick heads anti gun people!  CRIMINALS do not pay attention to a law, or ordinance, or ban of any kind. Your thinking is so stupid it hurts my head!!

These DUMB democrats from States that consider us all slaves and helpless better get it through thee their pee size brain that we are free men and women!!

“Why anyone should need or be allowed to carry a loaded firearm in our national parks simply doesn’t occur to me.”McDermott a democrat from Washington State .

What business is it of yours? you nanny headed poop??  I decide what I need to protect me and my family, not you!!   Wake up and stop smoking weed.
